Can UTI meds cause yeast infection?

Has anyone else gotten a yeast infection after a UTI? I took a pill a month ago to get rid of a yeast infection. Then got on medication for a uti, and now I’m pretty sure I have a yeast infection 😑

Yes, antibiotics can kill off the good bacteria too. I agree with the other comment, take probiotics too! Great thing about it is that you can never have too much of probiotics.

Antibiotics can cause yeast infections because it can throw off your vaginal flora. My gynecologist suggested that I take probiotics anytime I have to take antibiotics to help prevent yeast infections.
