What day is considered ovulation

Question

It it the first day of your peak test, the second day of your peak test, 24 hours after your last peak test or does anybody consider ovulation day the day you get cramping on one side?

Answer

Ovulation happens in an instant when the mature egg bursts through, but you are fertile for the few days leading up to ovulation.  In order to confirm ovulation and on what day it happened, you should chart your BBT and watch for 3 days for elevated temperatures!  I use fertility friend for this because it's been more accurate for me than this app.
