Can I test hCG levels at home? 👩🏻‍🔬🙃

4 weeks 3 days along. Hoping to find some reassurance by watching the numbers go up while I wait for my first OB appt at just over 8 weeks! Any brand recommendations would be SO appreciated as Google and Amazon are not as much help as I had hoped! THANK YOU! 😍

Nope. I can only be done through a blood rest at the doctors office.

There’s no way to test levels at home because it requires a blood test and a lab. You can always go to a family clinic with a local lab, and do the blood draw at the lab, but it would still be unsanitary and arguably dangerous to do it at home yourself. In any case, you’d need a medical lab to read the results of a quantitative test 🤷🏻‍♀️

You don’t need to continually test hcg unless your doctor is concerned about something being wrong (eg if you have a previous history of miscarriages).
