Pregnancy after birth????

Ok first off I am not pregnant again lol. I heard exclusively breastfeeding can stop you from getting pregnant. I don’t know if this is true is why I am asking here. Can you become pregnant while breastfeeding exclusively? After birth i have had one period already.

Breastfeeding can stop you from getting your period but it definitely isn’t birth control. You can still get pregnant even if you don’t have a period. You are extremely fertile after giving birth.

You sure can. This just happened to my SIL. She was still breastfeeding her first and hadn’t had a period for 9 months. She didn’t even have a guess as to how far along she was when she realized she was pregnant.
