Health care Q..if anyone knows??

I'm just wondering if by chance anyone would happen to know the answer to this question. For a long time I was only working part time making under $9 an hour so I was receiving Medicaid for health insurance (free health insurance through the state) and I just started a full time job that pays close to $12 an hour and offers insurance. So I signed up for it but it doesn't take effect until September 1st. Will Medicaid still cover me u til the new insurance starts? Cuz if not I'm kinda screwed and it's giving me anxiety. I'm nervous to call them. Any advice or info anyone could give would be really appreciated. Thanks!!
