Two days late but bfn

Hi everyone! I was just wondering if anyone had a bfn the day of missed AF but a bfp a couple of days after missed AF. I took an early detection test and it had the faintest of lines and the normal test comes back bfn. I am usually regular and we are actively ttc so this is a bit confusing. I ovulated around 27-28 June.
