Soon will start new cycle and this will be 4th month trying and have tried sex every other day or a few days everyday before ovulation, on ovulation and day after but I want to ensure most and optimal sperm is around so how often and when to have sex?

For your most optimal Chance is to have sex at lease every other day til AF shows especially if your not gonna be using OPKs.

Are you tracking ovulation or using glow predictions? If you're not tracking there's a chance the predicted day isn't exact which will throw off your whole fertile week. Using opks will help verify the ovulation day. We have sex daily for about a week before and a day after.
