This is my second baby, first baby with my husband. My OB is a new OB and wants to do genetic screening. He just said he usually does it as a “routine” thing with new patients and/or a patient who is having a child with a new partner. I agreed to the testing only because it’s better to be prepared should our baby have the risk of a disorder.

Have any of you opted to do the screening as well? I guess I’m getting blood work done & an ultrasound. I’m 24, husband is 22, we are healthy thank God. Just a little nervous cause you never really know. ♥️ Thankfully doctor said all looks great so far. Currently 9w2d, go to get this test done in 3 weeks. 😁🤞🏼
