Hey ladies. My son woke up today with this on both of his feet? I haven’t got a clue what it is or how he’s gotten it. Can’t get a doctors appointment yet. It’s pretty swollen and he struggles to get his balance/stay in his feet now. Does anyone know?

If you can’t get an appointment for another week, I’d probably bring him in to urgent care just in case.

Is it just on his feet? Hand foot and mouth maybe if its on his hands and face too?

Looks like the beginning of hand foot and mouth. Call your pediatrician and say that. They should let you in for a walk in same day. Don’t waste time in the ER, and have to pay that kind of copay. 
HFM is a viral infection so there’s no real meds to give. It’s a wait until it passes. Good luck. Hope it’s a mild case if that’s what he has.

It looks like hand foot mouth. But even if it is it’s a viral infection that the ER cannot do anything about besides possibly treat the pain but usually they don’t and send you home with care instructions until it is gone. But I would still take him to the ER in case it is something else that way you know for sure what it is.

Not sure! Looks sore though! Since you can't get an appointment can you go to the ER or an after hours clinic (not sure if you have those where you are from). Since it is bothering him I would get him checked out ASAP.

Doesn’t really look like hand foot and mouth to me, but it’s possible I guess. My 2 & 1/2 y/o son is also just coming down with it. 😩 His are only mouth sores right now.

Uh oh. That looks like Hand Foot Mouth disease.   There's no prevention and no cure, but it takes roughly 7-10 days to get over and it's absolute hell.  
My 2-year-old daughter just got over it and her hands and feet are literally peeling now. It's horrifying.
