No teeth or crawling at almost 8 months?

At every drooling and fuzziness, I get excited that a tooth is coming through but nope, months later and still not even one. Baby can’t crawl either but likes being supported to stand up. Anyone else in the same both? What can I do different?

Our daughter just cut her first tooth, she’s nearly 9 months old and still has no interest in crawling. She’s nearly pulling up to stand though (she loves standing and gets furious when she has to sit), and her pincer grasp is far more developed than most babies her age... babies develop different skills at various paces. Babies first tooth can come anywhere from 2-12 months (and actually they can come before or after that too... that’s just within the one standard deviation of the average) according to my dad who is a pediatrician and the average for crawling is 9 months but getting later now that children no longer spend as much time on their stomachs... they are seeing more and more children who go straight to walking. Basically unless there is a very significant delay, your child is probably fine and developing at their own pace. Every child will be good/advanced at some things and slower at others.
