Do you agree with what this man has to say regarding immigration?

There is a video of this man preaching who addressed Christians who are against immigration or treat immigrants bad. He said that in The Bible when King Herod was searching to kill Jesus that Jesus had to escape persecution and immigrate to Egypt. He finished off by saying "be careful how you treat immigrants. Your savior was one." This has caused some controversy as some people completely agree and others disagree. Do you agree or disagree with what he has to say? I personally agree.

i agree. the bible is supposed to be taken as a metaphorical read. like stories with examples of how to behave abd treat people. 
lets not forget how many cities Mary and Joseph had to go to, only for Mary to give birth in a manger

Yes, but I think we should treat immigrants with kindness and respect regardless.

I completely agree. There are many places in the Bible that talk about caring for the least of these. I have a bumper sticker that says “Jesus was a Middle Eastern refugee.” Then one right under it that says “Who would Jesus deport?” 
It’s one of the reasons Jeff Sessions makes me so angry. He used a small verse related to obeying laws of the land, but he chose to completely ignore all the other multitude of verses where we’re supposed to help those in need.

Yep. I have zero problems with immigrants and treating them with respect. It hurts my heart that hating on immigrants is even a thing. Where you are born is so arbitrary and doesn't give you the right to treat people differently because they were born somewhere else. If the reference to Jesus helps someone open their mind, heart, and eyes then I'm glad this guy is reminding people. ♥️

You can't disagree that the bible said it. It's not a controversial passage that's only in some bibles....it's in all of them. Jesus was a refugee as a child.
