My boyfriend and I have only been dating for a year and a few months that’s why this is such a shock. We’re 21 and 25 living together and even before we met, we both knew we wanted a family of our own more than anything. My parents adore my boyfriend to pieces and have been ok with us having kids in the near-ish future. Although his parents, understandably so, didn’t start to show their feelings towards us having kids until a week ago. Honestly I expected to be 5 years in and still waiting for all 4 parents to be on board! Although, now we’ll see a child playing and his dad will tell us “that will be you guys soon.” The other day his dad told his mom “I hope you know you’re going to be a grandma soon.” Her response was “I’m ok with that!” Even though their opinions aren’t necessary to make our choices, it’s still really nice to know they’re all on board and will all love our future child (when we decide to try) as much as us! ❤️
