period like back ache?

currently 36+3 and have had a constant ache in my lower back all day, feels like a pre period ache constantly? I'm a ftm and have no idea what this could mean 🙄

it might be contractions.  if baby is positioned certain ways you will feel the contractions in your back instead.  that's how it was with my son, the days leading up to birth and most of my labor I felt it in my lower back, Then right at the end he flipped over and I felt it on my stomach
