Spotting on Mirena ?

I've had my Mirena for two months now.  It was inserted when I was not on my period.  First period was Ok and normal... Now I started my period about a week and a half ago (normally last about 5 days)  and its almost two weeks and it seems like I'm still spotting! I'm just using pantyliners now.  I'm so over bleeding! It's bad enough for 5 days WTF!  Will this end after the 6 month period? Should I mention this to my doctor?

I got mine inserted last November. Had a normal period in December, and spotting in January and haven't had a period since! It's been great! The doctor told me that after about 6 months I probably wouldn't have a period. Was pleasantly surprised when it only took 2 months!

I've had mine for 2 years and my periods are still in flux. I spotted for a couple of months, then had my normal pre-IUD very predictable periods for several months, then no period for a few months, and now I just spot a few days a month.

it takes about 6 month until everything is normal again. I have jaydess the littke version of mirena. first I got my period three months long. but now I have a normal gucke again. a bit shorter than before jaydess

I had a period for 5 months on it.  5 months straight! Let's just say that little t shaped b!tch is no longer in me!
