Soy formula controversy?

I’m feeding my little one soy formula, but I have been looking into it and it has a protein similar to estrogen in it. It’s the only formula that he has done good on so far and now this is concerning me 😭

I specifically avoided Hipp Organic because it contains soy. Men transitioning to woman use soy to boost their estrogen- it’s very dangerous

The official position of the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is that soy based formulas and soy based foods in general are safe and do not pose a risk to health. The isoflavenoids in soy that are similar to estrogen are much, much weaker than actual estrogen and do not function the same way in the body. The choice is yours, I just urge you to make sure the sources you are reading are evidenced based, peer reviewed sources and not just based on anecdotal reports.
