Doctor Troubles

When I was younger, I had a bad experience with a male doctor. So when my husband came with me to an appointment and a male came in to see me, he was kind of confused when I was "snappy and a little rude" with him (the doctor). I didn't mean to be, but I haven't told him about that. I'm not sure whether or not to tell him. I'm not sure how he'd react and we're still getting to know each other. But I feel bad about not telling him because he doesn't keep secrets from me. I need some advice please :(
