This morning we decided to use the SMEG plan for two reasons

1. Last month we had a clear plan to use the Clear blue opk - from CD 7 as I have a 25-27 day style .. we started testing from day 8 and immediately had 9 days of positive flasy smile - Mid was that week unfortunately got at call they I had to come in for a hysteroscopy polyps removal the day I was due to ovulate so I never got the static smiley face

2. This month stocked up with macaroot preseed fertility conceive vixted we thought we were ready! Sooo wrong. We started at doubt day 7 and BD every other night and at count day 17 we were STILL getting the blank face negative OPK-

3. i called the clear blue team as I was so annoyed that having spent a good £70 on the two packs , I was getting very contradicting readings.....Clear Blue sent me a new pack and encouraged me to keep testing.

4. when I updated my negative opks Glow adjusted my predicted date of ovulation by a whole 9 days !!! (Ie delayed 9 days for first prediction)

I was starting to get discouraged - yesterday I tested with the new pack and it was negative I cried a little - this morning CD 19 we finally have the flashing smiley face —/ we are still waiting for the static 😩

This means had we gone by all the apps I have on my phone we would have stopped trying last week

Opks can be be stressful but this certainly showed me that I mean to be patient and really watch my body!

This post is to encourage those who are having the same issues with OPK- keep testing we do not ALL ovulation on the standard 14 days
