Any advice on moving in with SO ?

I’m about to move in with my SO  in a couple weeks for personal reasons, any advice on how to adjust and what to expect ?

Figure out who pays for what and when. Talk about who will do what household tasks - grocery shopping, cleaning, cooking, dishes, mow the lawn, laundry, bathrooms, bed, EVERYTHING. Talk about general house standards, if one is a slob and the other is a clean freak, that can raise issues. Talk about ‘house rules’ you would each like to abide by - nothing noisey until after 7pm, don’t bring friends over without letting the other know first, clean up after your own friends, who gets to watch which programs on TV when, how many nights will you stay in together, how many will you spend apart. Will you get a pet, if so, what kind? 
I know a lot of this probably seems like overkill, but the fact is, if you talk about all of these things first and try to come to some sort of agreement, you’ll reduce the chances of arguments. These are necessarily black and white rules, but more as guidelines to stick to. It’s about respect for your partner. Respect for your home. Respect for your relationship. 
The longer you are living together the more you can reevaluate your house rules and agreements and make adjustments to what makes you both happy.

Me and my boyfriend have lived together several different times and with all the time combined it would probably add up to around a year long that we’ve lived together and my best advice that I’ve learned is don’t expect to spend time with each other all the time. I only say that because i am someone who needs affection in a relationship and having never lived with a so before him that’s something I had to learn and also, it’s all about learning how to truly coexist with that person. I know that’s vague but each guy is different and you just have to figure each other out as far as living together and also being prepared to make compromises a lot. And another thing is don’t have expectations of who will do what around the house. Definitely talk that out and establish who will help do certain things and all that. But other than that, I agree with the other comments about just do your own thing whenever you have free time because it sometimes can get frustrating being around the same person all the time when you move in together. It’s all about learning how to live happily with that person
