When should we have the baby shower?

Being due in January makes the timing a bit overwhelming with Christmas the month before... So when are all of you January mamas planning to have your shower? I’m due January 11 and I was thinking the end of November but it just seems so early 😭

I'm due Jan 8th and we picked October 27th for the baby shower to avoid deer season, and then the holidays. I feel like people have work parties and family parties for Thanksgiving and Christmas so even though it will be early at 30 weeks that is what we are doing.

We are due early January and shower will be late October. My husbands 30th is in November as well as 2 of our parents plus thanksgiving so October baby shower it is!

I’m due Jan 22nd and having my shower on Dec 8th or 15th. We have birthdays in October November and December plus all the holidays so being close to another celebration is inevitable for us lol so we just picked a Saturday and everyone can just deal with it we’re all used to being broke around that time anyways 🤣🤣

We’re probably going to do the first or second weekend in November so that way it beats all of the Christmas parties that start popping up.
