When did you get your 3D ultrasound?

Trying to decided when the best time to get my last one would be.

I have them weekly, but out of all of them the best ones were at 28 weeks & then 30 weeks. My daughter squishes herself into my placenta and is stubborn so I haven’t been able to get anymore decent pictures and I’m 35 weeks now. But the orangish ones are from 28 weeks & the grey and white are at 30 weeks and my placenta is still covering her a lot honestly.

The absolute best time to get a 3D is between 28 & 31 weeks according to my OB, MFM, & voluntary ultrasound place.
I had an anterior placenta so mine weren’t super clear but there is my sons at 29+2 (left) compared to him at 1 month old (34+3 gestation, right). He was born at 30+3.

I got a couple 3D images from my dr at 17, 19, and 36ish weeks. I sprung $99 for an elective 3/4D ultrasound at 26 weeks and wish I’d waited til closer to 30 but we still got really good images. When I went for my elective the tech said 28-34 is the best time.
