This morning I was making coffee and accidentally spilled boiling water all over my hand. I immediately ran it under cool water, then put it in a bowl of cool water. Online it said I only had to do this for 20 mins, but the pain got worse and I've now had it in for 3-4 hours and my hand is red in the places it was burned. Anyone had this happen to you before? What did you do? If feels like it's getting burned all over again if I take it out of cool water.
