Tips for flying with a baby?

My husband and I are planning on taking our daughter to meet his side of the family. They are about an hour plane ride away and when we leave she will be just shy of 5 months old. I’m so nervous to fly with her because I know everyone hates that crying baby on a plane, so any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated

I’ll be flying with our baby Home for baptism at 3 months, but from seeing other babies flying the thing that seems to work is nursing or feeding during take off and landing (helps the ears pressurize)

Our lo was just shy of 9 weeks when she took her first plane ride and she loved it! It was 3 1/2-4 hours I can’t remember exactly but it easy sailing for us. When we were exiting the plane the flight attendants said they forgot she was on board. We had like a 9am departure I believe. I nursed her during take off and we played with her for a bit then she napped most of the time. She woke up shortly before arrival so I nursed her again. We were given priority boarding and waited for everyone else to exit the plane before trying to get our bags and leave our selves.
