Transfering a 3day embryo and 5 day blastocyst at same time??

Question

I have had to have my embryos frozen, one was frozen at day 3 and one at day 5. Im due to do a frozen embryo transfer in a couple months and wondered can i thaw and put them both in??? Anyone any experience of this

I wouldn’t put two in unless you’ve got good rationale for it. If your “climate” isn’t right you risk losing both. And the chances of getting pregnant with one embryo aren’t much different than the chances when implanting two. But your risk of multiples is significantly higher

i actually dont know but I think it would all come down to timing of embryo transfer. blastocyst will have to be transferred on day 5. im not sure if the day 3 embryo will implant at that time and continue growing? i would go ahead with blastocyst transfer only then keep the day 3 embryo for insurance 😊
ask the doctor though!
