So my MIL met this man and after just 2 months of dating he engaged her. Me , my bf and kids were going to be part of the wedding. Well this weekend we went dress shopping, she picked out a $1000 dress. we were celebrating on Saturday by having a meet and greet. The guys 2 sons and us all out back for a bbq. Well things went south when the one brother didnt answer his phone for the other so the older 30 year old Male came tot he house with a metal pipe trying to beat him up. Our babies were at this bbq and me and my bf felt disrespected , also by the way the future husband was acting. We were upset of what happened. cops came and all , and we also heard him talking about a gun !!! well the dad was like saying it's normal, people fight, he will handle it , he dont even know us or what were capable of etc. so my bf called his mom the next day and she was just saying on the phone how this doesn't involve him !!! HOW ? OUR KIDS WERE THERE AND OBVIOUSLY THESE PEOPLE ARE UNSTABLE. So he told her were reconsidering being part of the wedding. so she called the whole thing off !!!! What do you guys think of the situation ? they made it seem as though we had no business having an opinion, and they would talk to him and he would apologize. FUCK THAT
