How to subtly flirt?

So there’s this cute guy that works at the Starbucks in the Kroger’s I work at. I go there everyday. Yesterday my coworker told me the Starbucks guy said I was kinda cute (honestly idk if that’s really a compliment or not but whatever). Anyways, how can I subtly flirt with him? Today was the first day he had ever spoken with me and we had a little chat while he was making my drink. Before he wouldn’t ever even look me in the eye lol, am I reading to much into this?
