So I’m 11 weeks pregnant. Me and the babies father broke up and he texted me multiple times that he does not want to be involved in the child’s life at all. It’s completely okay with me. I can do it as a single mom. But while we were together I told him I’m naming the baby if it’s a boy, after my father. Because he was my best friend and passers away 10 years ago this November. An amazing man with a good head on his shoulders, just overran the best father ever. I’m not giving my baby the fathers last name because oh well, I don’t want to. But would my son be Frank Garcia G... ll or would it be Jr?

I think you would just name him the name without Junior or Second. 
He’s technically a new person with no parent he’s being named after. It’ll be a lot simpler for him to not be a second.

He’s neither a II or a junior. Since your father has passed away, he wouldn’t be referred to as a junior - it’s largely meant to keep distinction between two living relatives of the same name. If your son named his son the same, then for family history purposes and etc. your dad would be I, your son would be II, and your grandson would be III. While both alive, your son would then be a senior and grandson a junior.
I study genealogy! So I know a lot about all of this. 
It’s really interesting and if you want to not give your baby his biological father’s name, then don’t! It’s all up to you, mama.

I don't believe he would be either. Jr would be if he was named after his father and the II if his father was a Jr and he was named after his father.
