How would you feel?

Let’s say you’re SO comes home from getting a haircut and says his sister texted him to let him know she ran into his Ex. She proceeds telling him how pretty she is and how much she's changed. 
Some background on this Ex. He joined the military for this girl and was suicidal when they broke up. This girl was a big part of his life. 
Just wondering if I'm overreacting?

I've been married 11 years, my mil and sil talk to my husband's ex. like they go out of their way to get in touch with her. then proceed to talk about her to him and right in front of me. apparently they've talked about me too bc I got a fb message for him ex a few weeks ago about an adoption lawyer she went through and gave me the number. first of all, you're an ex and I tried to be nice and be friends with her 11 years ago and she refused. now she up and writes me trying to "help" me but the whole time she bragged about having a baby 10 years after being with her husband and adopting. my life is personal and I don't appreciate them telling her all about it. if it was flipped and it was my family talking about my ex and my ex writing my husband he would flip the f out but he always says I can't help how his family is. honestly he could be like y all need to stop, I'm married and have been for 11 years. if I wanted to know about my ex is get a hold of her myself. I do need to mention my mil hates me and always has, my husband's ex use to kiss her ass and bend over backwards for her and I don't so she hates me

we no longer have contact with my husbands family because of his ex-wife. his sister spends everyday with her (literally, not being dramatic) and his family invites her to every family function (and she attends like a crazy person). they didn’t have children together so there is no reason for her to be around. she didn’t have a relationship with his family until after they divorced and we got together. i can’t stand families that won’t let go of the ex. they are an ex for a reason.

Depends on what her intentions were. If she was hinting that he should reconnect with her then yeah I’d be upset, but if she was just telling him because that’s kinda just what siblings do then I wouldn’t trip about it 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

I wouldn't know how to feel. So long as he isnt horribly bothered by hearing about her, and they dont contact each other (If it'll cause problems), then just stay aware maybe. I know when one of my husband's friends told him his ex (who made him struggle a bit in finances and cheated all the time) was back in town, I told him if she tried to contact him that I would beat her ass. but I'm not bothered by it cause i know he wont talk to her. I know if we were to see her, he would turn the other way.
