Trying to conceive after removal of iud

I just got my IUD out June 14,2015. I have two daughters already but, my husband and I are trying to swing in favor for a boy but, that is not my question. How long has it tooken you to get pregnant after a IUD removal? I have read it can take up to six months but, I am one that doesn't want to wait.
