Dinner??

Question

Hey guys! So my husband gets home at 8 and my son falls asleep at 7.  Never was an issue until now as he is eating table food. I’m struggling with making him a dinner that we would eat and trying to wait for my husband! Any ideas??

Keep aside something you had from the night before and give that to him the next day before bed. No extra effort that way!

I’m in the same boat! We try to put baby down by 830pm but my husband doesn’t get home into 7, 715. I get home at 530 after picking her up from my sister who watches her while we work. 
I make start making our dinner, and will make her portion to eat at 630. Then husband and I will eat at 730. Sometimes she takes a few bites of ours. Then bath at 750, bottle by 815. Sometimes our schedule gets pushed and April won’t want to eat on her own, and will eat with us at 730, and won’t want to finish her bottle and won’t sleep until 9pm. Or sometimes we won’t eat until after she’s sleeping. 
It’s a balancing act, but as long as she eats, it’s all that matters!
