My fiance had to fly back to his country back in March in order to do the mandatory 2 year serve in the military. We have been together 2 years. I tried video chatting with him yesterday for the first time before he could no longer use his phone (he was being put into bootcamp) and it lasted 30 minutes before he ran out of data. We continued to text after that, but I became a bit of a mess because it had been a few months since we talked face to face and I wanted to talk longer 😅. I know I'll be okay until he comes back, but I still miss him. I'm thinking of maybe sending some care packages. What are some things that you guys suggest would help a little? What are your experiences with your military boyfriend (or girlfriend?)
