So today at my appointment I talked to my NP about doing a membrane sweep. I know that it isn't always successful and that it can be uncomfortable and I probably shouldn't do it unless it's necessary. She told me that they do it starting at 38 weeks. She pretty much only suggested it because I told her that I really did not want to go past my due date. She didn't really want to discuss it a whole lot until she sees where I am at my next appointment because I'm only dilated 1 cm and baby girl hasn't dropped yet.
