I can understand why people voted for him to try to shake things up, but I cannot help but lose respect for you if you are still defending all the terrible things he says and does.

I’m scared shitless every time I hear “breaking news” or “we interrupt this broadcast” on tv now, wondering wtf he did now and which country he alienated this time. I didn’t get voting for him in the first place but fine, everyone had their reasons. I really don’t understand trying to justify any of his actions at this point though. I find myself hoping our allies will forgive us for him at some point

I don’t judge them but as a Latina, I can’t help but think they have trumps mentality about immigrants  and they don’t quite appreciate me being here? But then I think about how much media manipulates things that I think to myself -well not everyone that voted for him is like him- so I try to give them the benefit of the doubt first and take it from there..
