Don't end your current happiness over the past suspicion. Its like asming someone's sexual history number... no one ever feels better after that conversation and if the number "doesn't matter" then you don't need to know it. People make mistakes, especially in the begining and I bet he is not the same man today then he was then.  I tend to think that behavior like this tends to be motivated by self destructive tendencies, maybe you are happy and you dont feel like you deserve it. What good would come from habing that conversation? Would you really divorce him for an indiscretion that occured years ago? OR would you stay and always be a little bitter and not trust him?  If you dont think he is still cheating then let it go and let yourself be happy. Accept that he made a mistake early on when he wasn't committed, learned his lesson, and has never repeated it since.

I would. cheating is cheating no matter how long ago it was. Unless it was during a time when it wasn't serious then i wouldn't care but if you was committed right away then it's a problem and it's a long lived lie
