Let’s say that you’re unhappy where you currently live. You’re unhappy with your job. They have great benefits but little pay and tons of stress. Additionally, you have no family in the state. You have two small children. Bills are piling and you can no longer afford to live where you currently reside.

So you decide to move out of state to be more successful in your career and be by family. You’re confident you can get a job making more money very easily but you have enough money to get by for 6 months without a job, if it came to that.

How would you go about moving?

Would you pick up and leave and start over, believing you’d be happier and more successful (and getting a job when you get there)?

Or would you wait and try to find a job first, (which you know is difficult, not being local)?
