I have to vent a Little

For all of you who struggled to get pregnant...my story is not as “sad” if you will, as other women but maybe you feel the same as me?

My husband and I have been married for about 3.5 years and ttc for that time. Last year we did two IUIs one in August the next in October. They both failed. While we were gearing up to do

IVF this September, we conceived naturally in May PTL!!! (Praise the Lord!) It was a complete surprise as I really thought we would never conceive naturally at this point. I have PCOS, he has long sperm count. We are some good years apart in age.

What I need to rant about is names. I have loved learning about and looking into baby names for about 10 years now. It’s a hobby. Now that I’m pregnant, some of those names are common or as some on this app like to put it “boring and basic.” Gee, I’m sorry, I can’t control a names popularity and I also can’t control when I get pregnant. So if you don’t mind, I’ll be using these “boring and basic names” that I’ve loved forever. So because I didn’t get pregnant 3.5 years ago when I first got married, before Olivia was (#2 in 2017 I think?) I should be punished for that and not use it?
