Exercise question?
I’ve been walking around my neighborhood almost every day since I reached 25 weeks pregnant. I go around 5 or 6 when the sun is down and it’s not to hot and I always bring lots of water with me. I walk maybe 4-5 miles. I’m 31 weeks now, and I’ve been asking my husband to go with me on the walks just in case I go into labor. Well every time I go I try to mix up my walking routine because I heard if you walk the same routine to much your body grows used to it. My husband told me I wouldn’t lose any weight because I’m just walking, and not doing much else?
Which I’m a bit confused because I’ve maintained 30 pounds since starting this pregnancy, and I feel amazing. I gained 50 pounds in my first pregnancy so I feel pretty good having only gained 30 pounds and being almost 9 months pregnant.
Is it true I won’t really lose anything by just walking? I can’t exactly do anything else like running..
