Should we wait until we're financially ready to have a child?

He thinks we should wait, I think we are ready and can handle it. I also believe if you wait until you're financially ready then you'll never be truly ready. Just curious of what other women think?

It isn't true that if you wait until you're financially ready you will never be ready.  It is absolutely possible to be financially ready for a child. People who say that generally just say it as a way to rationalize their own impatience.   I mean,  do whatever you're going to do.. but don't make up rationalizations to justify it.

1. i think its worth listening to your partner if they arent ready yet. being mentally ready can be tied to whether or not one thinks they are financially ready to handle the extra costs of having a kid. 2. like the others have said, how financially ready you are or arent depends on your finances, which we know nothing about. many couples are struggling to make ends meet as is and are ttc, which i think isnt very responsible. personally, i think its best to be financially stable plus some to plan for kids. that way you've set up a good foundation for your future and your kids. it's a lot harder and takes longer to become stable if you are also worrying over your children

As a single mother on benefits i wish i waited, all the savings i had went on stuff for the baby before she was born. Shes now 5 and i hardly ever have money for myself she always needs stuff for school or she grows out of clothes or her shoes wear through. Im trying my hardest to get work but there’s nothing much about for someone with no other childcare options. I really wish i waited

Depends on your financial situation... are you overloaded in debt? Do you have a decent living place? Relatively decent jobs?

Been with my bf 14 years, 15 in January. moved many places, states and he was in the service. yes he has some student loans and I have some cards to pay off but we have been busting our butts to get to a better place to start trying. h has went through college 2 times and now we have a nice life waiting to be blessed with our 🌈👶 your never ready people say, I agree but 14 years ago we couldn't barely feed 2 mouths let alone 3. now he makes better money and is moving up with an amazing company so we are ready now more then before. I hope in 9 days we get an answer 🤞🙏🌈👶
