Nearly 6 months EBF

Hi guys! new to the group and wanted to share my beautiful little monkey and out breastfeeding story in short! My little monkey was born 9lb 10oz on 10th Feb 2018, instantly latched like a pro! I had never been more relieved as my dream was to successfully breastfeed. fast forward a couple weeks, bleeding split nipple and no midwife support due to short staff (the real strain on the NHS showed here) I hadn't seen anyone and was pretty sure baby had a tongue tie. Health visitor finally weighed her at 15 days (she hasnt been weighed in 2 weeks!) and baby only weighed 1oz more than birth! after forcing a second opinion, tongue tie was finally found! We managed to just grab an appointment with the only Lactation Consultant in our whole County and BOOM we did it! successful feeding! We avoided the top up trap as I instead for two weeks did pumped milk top ups after every feed. We are now nearing 6 months so a 1/4 way through out initial target !
