And he just saved his SECOND green sea turtle!

This poor guy kept trying to swim under and couldn’t. His bottom was not sinking. My husband pulled him into the boat and contacted Mote Marine Laboratory

One of the areas they specialize in is sea turtle rehabilitation (along with dolphin and manatee).

Unfortunately they’re not sure if this guy is going to make it. The first turtle he saved was monitored, rehabbed, and released back into the ocean! We were invited to his reintroduction into the gulf. He has a tracker so we can always see where he is 🙂

There are days I miss my husband, as he is always fishing or working on boats. But not only does he provide for our family, he’s saving our oceans, one turtle at a time.
