Mold?! šŸ¤¢

So ladies, I moved into my apartment about a month ago and since itā€™s been hell. I was 9 months pregnant moving in.. enough said. And I also paid a $2000 deposit so they would let my boyfriend live with me, due to his background check (bar fight when he was 18, 6 years ago) Lol so the first day we signed our lease and received the keys, we walked in and while they cleaned the carpets, they left all the windows shut, no air on, no dehumidifier or fans, absolutely nothing and it smelled moist and kind of gross. So I go out and buy some carpet power that smelled pretty good, vacuumed it up and two days later smelled moist again. Ok so I tell the property manager and she offers to have our carpets re-cleaned properly (still hasnā€™t happened). Also pointed out one room smells like cat pee even though she said the previous renter didnā€™t have a cat šŸ¤” so thatā€™s on the agenda already. Well then we noticed both of our bathroom vents donā€™t work. Come to find out the whole building doesnā€™t work when it comes to the vents, gross.. sounds like mold waiting to happen. Then I see that the laminate wood flooring is peeling up from the moisture in the air. Inform her of that as well. Then I see that my bag of potatoes had water in the bottom and was ruined from two days ago when I went grocery shopping, also a loaf of bread was ruined. Both in my pantry. Our ac was also broken and bath faucet needed replacing due to black stuff coming out. Both of those were taken care of right away when I first mentioned the carpet situation. And let me say the manager has been more than kind and understanding but I know thereā€™s only so much she can do , so even though sheā€™s a sweetheart Iā€™m not sure anything big will get done. So today Iā€™m cleaning and I notice all along my baseboards thereā€™s mold growing, great. She is coming by tomorrow with one of the building owners to do a walk through and I will be pointing out all of this. My question is, if they donā€™t do anything about the mold and moisture, is there some kind of association that will help me fight it? Or some way to get out of my lease? I have an infant daughter and Iā€™m worried about it being potentially unhealthy ā˜¹ļø Iā€™m gonna ask for my deposit back, ask them to buy a dehumidifier, replace the flooring, clean the carpet, check for more mold along with clean up the current mold, among some smaller things. Which I know is a long shot but Iā€™m not letting my babies crawl in this shit. Ugh any advice? Anywhere that can help me? This isnā€™t right šŸ˜£ who lets a 9 month pregnant lady move into this knowing Iā€™ll have an infant living with me? So stressed between a newborn and my living situation
