Gender reveal/ hubby thinks it’s dumb

Anyone else have a spouse or baby daddy that thinks this is a stupid thing to do? Little back story we have been trying for over 4 years and not sure if it will happen again. Also I didn’t get to have a big wedding/ parties to go with it. I feel like I should “live it up” with the baby stuff
