I Need advice

So I have a crush on when I was little we were best friend kinda grew apart but we still chill older brother he gives me sly looks and stuff we texted for a week non stop one down side was i always had to start the conversations he has not once texted me first but he does keep the conversation going for ex if it's at a point where there is nothing to say he will ask me a question on a totally diff topic to keep talking but all of a sudden the last 2 or 3 days I start our conversation kinda like how I would before but it tells me he looks but he never responds was he or is he interested in me he is not really shy was he only talking to me because i know his little sister but also he gave me his snapchat (which is what we talk on I don't have a real phone number ) not his sister so I'm confused any thought
