At what age did you child get their first ear infection? My son is 9.5mo and has not had one (that I know of) he’s generally a very happy baby. Only issue we have ever had is a mild fever after immunizations which is normal. Then a fever when first teeth were coming in. Other than that the only fussy times is when he is tired but he goes right to sleep once we lay him down.

My coworker told me that his neighbor had a happy baby and he had ear infections but it never bothered him so the parents never knew. He now is seeing a speech therapist because of the back up in his ears from prior infections that were never treated.

Now I’m worried we might have missed something. My friends son is constantly getting ear infections. Yet we haven’t had one. Is that normal? Should he have had one by now?
