when did you start on the nursery?

I would like to start on the nursery soon, and I just wanted an average of when people get started. To each their own, I know... But I'm just curious! Feel free to comment what week you were in when you started!! Thank you in advance 😃❤️

We had the crib and dresser by the second trimester, however baby is 2 weeks old and his nursery is t done 🤷🏼‍♀️ we have everything just haven’t hung it up

I had a few things here and there but didn't even put up the crib or anything till about 35 weeks. but I was just nervous about it being bad luck to even buy anything before the baby is here

I think I was 27 weeks when we started. but only painting, wall decals, and a dresser. the rest of it wasn't done until 33+ weeks after we had the baby shower since we knew we would be getting quite a bit from our families.

We cleaned the room out (it was a storage space before) in the second trimester but we just started putting it together in the last few weeks (start of third trimester)

Second trimester. We (my husband, my parents, my in-loves, and myself) came up with a theme as soon as we found out the gender, which was at 14 weeks. We started purchasing a lot of things for our daughter's nursery around the 18-week mark. We got the room painted around 19 weeks. We started getting things (wall crown, floating bookshelves) mounted to the walls around the 21 week mark. Decoration officially started at 22 weeks. I believe we were completely done by 26 weeks. My husband and I basically did the decoration ourselves since our parents live hours away. We did get a little help from friends.

I’m dying to start! I’m 14 weeks and will find out in two weeks the gender and I will start buying, decorating immediately!!! My husband also can’t wait to paint the room either a soft shade of blue or pink!

I'm 37.5 and hubs just moved his youngests things out of the small room/nursery to be combined with his other daughters room two days ago. I've been saying the whole time I don't need a nursery and she doesn't need a nursery right away because shes going to sleep with us for about 6 months. So he painted and that's that. I just want to put all of this stuff in the closet lol.
