Visitors after baby

Ok so I’m planning on giving birth at a birthing center. At that specific place they really only let people stay around 8 hours after baby is born. Maybe a little more if there are some problems. So I was wondering if we should allow family to come visit while there, or would it be better once we are home? I’ve heard that it is nice to be able to get your rest in while there, but I’ve also heard that people can tend to get too comfortable and stay too long when at the house. So what are y’alls opinions? I don’t want to keep our family from seeing her for too long, but I also know that we will need our rest though too...
