Taking progesterone???

Question

Anyone prescribed progesterone to help a pregnancy continue? 
I just had two miscarriages in the last year, and my OB has just started me on progesterone hoping it will help. 
Anyone had any success with this?

I've had them and thanks God they worked for me. I have now 3 amazing kiddos. I almost lost my first son at 23 weeks due to short cervix and preterm labor then wth my second pregnancy I miscarried the baby. I had to be on Makena shots for my 3 and 4th pregnancy. My first was born at 34 weeks and 2 and 3 at 38 weeks.  And they are all perfectly healthy. 🙏 I'm a grateful mum of 2 sons  and a daughter :) and our precious angel baby  👼🏼

My Ob put me on 200mg progesterone twice a day at 8 wks because I was spotting and my levels were low. Now I'm going to see the doctor today at 15 weeks and I think I'm coming off of them which I'm nervous because I still have spotting once in a while. But I definitely think it helped me with my spotting and keeping me pregnant with my baby girl.

I had 2 mc as well within the last year and am now on 200mg progesterone every night!  Just started them today! 😊🙏🏻🌈

I have been taking Makena since 16 weeks pregnant. I’m currently 25 weeks. I had a cerclage placed at 22 weeks due to my cervix shortening at my routine MFM checkup.

I’m taking Makena injections. This is he second pregnancy I’ve used them and am now 20 weeks on. With my last child the injections were give to me and I carried her to 35 weeks. We started then way later than 16 weeks. So far I’ve had minimal contractions. Hope this helps. Ask me anything

I was prescribed them around 20w. My cervix still gave out anyways (incompetent cervix) I had the cerclage done but my doctor still has me taking them anyways. I have no idea if they are working or not.
