why is fr tests positive and doctors test was negative?

so obviously my line is getting darker but today i went to get a pregnancy test at my doctor (urine test) and it came back negative :-( why is this happening?? they said they wont do a blood test until next week

these test are very sesitive happened to me. get blood taken to no for sure. I'm 12 weeks pregnant today!

I had the same thing. A negative urine test at the doctor while my home pregnancy tests were positive. Your hcg has to be pretty high to register on their tests. My first blood hcg level was 82 at 12 dpo  and that’s when the doctor office test was negative. My next level was 289 and it was a super faint positive on their test while my first response was a dark line by then.

The doctors urine test are not anywhere near as sensitive as frer. And I've heard if it's not a blaring positive theyll tell you it's negative but I can't confirm that because I never went to a doctor before 6-8 weeks...

Might be because first response has a very low HCG level needed. The hospitals aren't as low...  I'd ask for blood work, that will be the most accurate.
