4D Ultrasound pic weirded me out, anyone else?

During my 20 week anatomy scan the sonography turned on the 4D to take a pic of my baby girls face.  The image freaked me out but my placenta is in the way so they had to dial in to see through it which I’m hoping is the reason why my baby looked like skeletor. Am I the only one who got freaked out? 😱😫🤔

21 weeks, less scary than what earlier sonos looked like. You have to remember they’re capturing these images through fluid and while the baby is moving about, so they’re blurry/distorted. And also they don’t have any fat on them. My U/S tech said we’ll be really happy to see her in 3D after 28 weeks.

This is our little one, the ultrasound was at 20wks. She kinda resembles her daddy when he was a baby.🤗💕

I don’t remember how far along I was but my daughters ultrasound freaked me out. This was pretty much the only shot I got and I was so afraid her face was going to be Deformed! She came out beautiful tho.

And now five years later...

So don’t worry. Ultrasound pictures can come out super funny, it doesn’t mean anything bad!

My 15 week US looked pretty scary😂😂 i also thought she had a big nose but later realized it was her hand😂 im glad we didnt do a close up on her face here but she looked like a little alien struggling in there.. and at one point she even lost her head somewhere😂😭

My 4D looked horrendous as well. I'm hoping to get a better picture in 6 weeks when i go for my follow up US.

I have had one done at 15 weeks but those points baby doesn’t have any fat reserves so they are pretty skinny looking... if u do a 3D or 4D at 28 or more weeks they look cute and chunky lol
