Cats and infertility?

So my husband and I have decided to try to conceive and i heard from a co worker that cats can cause infertility in women. She told me this story about her friend she knew and that once she got rid of her cats it was almost right away she became pregnant. I’ve done some research on it considering I have two one year old cats and just adopted a 3week old kitten. Some disease that cats could have can affect the fetus once you’re pregnant but I’m not too sure about the infertility part. Any advice or opinions on if this is true or not and if so, what can I do to prevent infertility without getting rid of my cats?

There is a parasite in their poop that can harm a fetus. But cats do not cause infertility. I had two cats in my home and have a two year old. Just dont change the litter box while pregnant. That's all.

It’s not the animal. It’s their feces and litter. Pregnant women and women who are trying shouldn’t be changing out litter boxes.

Not true. the only risk is when yiuyou are pregnant and changing the litter if your cats have a parasite. just have hubby change it or wear gloves and a mask when doing it.
