Is singing baby to sleep a bad habit?

She’s 9 months old and she likes to fall asleep with me singing to her and holding my finger. I don’t mind it, but should I be teaching her to fall asleep on her own? I’m a first time mom and just want to make sure I’m doing okay 😬

I say ur doing great mama. I sing my lil guy to sleep everynight the same song bcuz it cues him to know it's bedtime for the night. It's apart of our night routine and I love that part of our day so much. Don't stop mama .

Girl do it... I sing my little girl the same bedtime song every night. It’s part of her bedtime routine. It cues her to know sleepy time! She sleeps 7pm to 6:30am every night. Why change?
